Survivorship A to Z reflects the unique experience of our founder, David S. Landay, Esq.

• David lost his life partner and many friends to HIV/AIDS. He lost both of his parents and sister to cancer.
• When AIDS hit, David was producing on Broadway including Kander and Ebb's Woman of the Year with Lauren Bacall, Raquel Welch, and Debbie Reynolds.
• Non-profit endeavors include:
• • A founder of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS which has raised over $250,000,000 nationally to help battle HIV/AIDS
  • Ex-board chair, Community Research Initiative (CRI), grass roots clinical trials relating to HIV (now ACRIA)
  • Former member of board of National Association of People With AIDS (NAPWA) and National AIDS Fund (now AIDS United)
  • Former Public Policy Committee member, Cancer Care, Inc.
  • Current: Board member: Until There's A Cure (raises money for people with HIV and HIV awareness via sale of bracelets and other jewelry)
• Bill paying endeavors include:
